Options after school or college
Options after school or college
There are lots of options for you as you leave school or college.
- You can become a volunteer - which is someone who works for an employer and gets experience of doing a job, but doesn't get paid.
- You can become an apprentice - which is someone who is learning a trade from a skilled employer, for a set period of time (between one and two years). You get paid and also get a qualification.
- You can get a job and start work.
Almost any kind of work is possible.
If you would like to talk to someone about your options after you leave education, you can speak to the Career Advisor at your school or college who will be able to offer you some help and advice.
